Importance of Reading Books : Especially for Children

Importance of Reading
My Well-wishers,

I would like to ask you one question here is, what is the importance of reading a book to a child? I think this is not a big question that I realized to be answered from my well-wishers and parents too.
As I heard from my parents that it is a well-known fact that when there were no televisions or computers, reading was a primarily enjoyable activity. People would spend hours reading books and travel to lands far away-in their minds. The only tragedy is that, with time, people have lost their skill and passion to read.

There are many other exciting and thrilling options available, aside from books. And that is a shame because reading offers a productive approach to improving vocabulary and word power. It is advisable to spoil at least half an hour of reading a day to keep abreast of the various styles of writing and new vocabulary.

I have also observed that children and teenagers (my elder brothers) who love reading have comparatively higher IQs. They are more creative and do better in school and college. I think it is strongly recommended that parents must inculcate the importance of reading to their children in the early years.

Reading is said to importantly help in developing vocabulary, and reading aloud helps to build a strong emotional bond between parents and children. The children who start reading from an early age are observed to have good language skills, and they grasp the variances in phonics much better.

There are many Children's Books available around us. Even Indian parents also get Indian Books for Children's from the market. I don't know others. But one thing is clear, reading helps in mental development and is known to stimulate the muscles of the eyes. Reading is an activity that involves greater levels of concentration and adds to the conversational skills of the reader. There is always question that how one can get Children's Books for 4-8 age group? I am sure that if there is a will one can find a way to it.

In fact, the habit of reading also helps readers to trace new words and phrases that they come across in everyday conversations. For said reason one can get treasure trunk of the Best Online Classic Children's Books. The habit can become a healthy addiction and adds to the information available on various topics. It helps us to stay in touch with contemporary writers as well as those from the days of yore and makes us sensitive to global issues.

Reading is the basic foundation on which academic skills of an individual are built. They say that the right time to inculcate good habits and values in a person is his childhood. With so many advantages to its credit, reading has to be inculcated in children at a young age. The biggest difference between reading a book and watching a movie is the scope to lose your own creativity.

Reading yields great benefits, it is a fact and truth which cannot be questioned by anyone. This is the reason one has to understand the importance of reading and writing, and be well versed in these activities. In this world of competitiveness, it is always advantageous to gather vast knowledge, and there is no better way to do so, other than reading. So, it's my honest request to all my friends, my well-wishers and parents that it is high time for us. So, just think about reading habits.
